Contrast Enhanced Ultrasound of the Abdomen Including the Kidneys – SDMS 2nd Edition

FREE

Contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) is a valuable, noninvasive imaging tool for evaluating abdominal pathology, yet it remains underutilized in the United States. This enduring webinar will review the clinical utility of CEUS for the liver, pancreas, kidneys, spleen, gallbladder, and gastrointestinal tract, with emphasis on enhancement patterns and wash-in/washout kinetics that support lesion characterization. Faculty will also discuss the advantages of CEUS compared with contrast-enhanced CT and MRI, including lack of ionizing radiation, bedside portability, lower cost, and use in select patient populations where CT or MRI contrast may be limited.
