Please Note: This program has been submitted for approval of Sonographer SDMS CME Credit Program Description / Statement of Need: The UAB Partners in Progress symposium is designed to address the evolving educational needs of imaging professionals by highlighting advancements across a spectrum of imaging modalities, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and interventional radiology. As imaging technology rapidly progresses, there is a critical need for healthcare providers to stay current with innovations that impact diagnostic accuracy, operational efficiency, and patient outcomes. This interdisciplinary program brings together expert faculty to share insights, case studies, and evidence-based practices, fostering collaboration among radiologists, technologists, physicists, and other allied health professionals. Attendees will gain practical knowledge and strategic perspectives on emerging tools, technologies, and techniques that are shaping the future of diagnostic imaging. Target Audience: The content of this SDMS CME Symposium is intended for healthcare professionals including Radiologic and Imaging Nurses, Sonographers, Facility Managers, Researchers, and other healthcare professionals. Accreditation and CME Credit Statements: This SDMS CME activity has been planned and submitted for approval of 7.0 hours of SDMS CME Credit Category OT by the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (SDMS).
