Clinicians have shown a growing interest in CEUS for diagnostic use and treatment monitoring in the clinical setting, due to new indications and the expansion of CEUS qualitative and quantitative analytical capabilities. Therefore, there is a need to provide up to date information to clinicians on Clinical use of Ultrasonic Enhancing Agents (UEAs) in Echocardiography. Additionally, UEAs and Low Mechanical Index techniques will be explored with emphasis on how to implement these techniques in everyday practice.

  1. Discuss Clinical Use of Ultrasonic Enhancing Agents (UEAs) in Echocardiography.
  2. Describe UEAs and Low Mechanical Index Modalities.
  3. Discuss How Ultrasound Interacts with Microbubbles to Produce Signal.
