This symposium titled “GBCAs: One Fits All or Tailoring? The Experts Convene” explores societal guidelines in terms of gadolinium administration for neuroimaging, breast and MRA/liver studies in MRI. Our experts discuss practical strategies and implementation of these guidelines in routine clinical practice. We will review strategies on how to address patients’ concerns regarding gadolinium administration as well. The purpose of this symposium is to provide physicians and other health care professionals with current clinical data to make informed decisions in their clinical settings.
- Review societal guidelines in terms of gadolinium administration for neuroimaging studies in MRI.
- Understand patient selection and indications for breast MRI while reviewing the technical requirements for contrast-enhanced breast MR imaging.
- Review the characteristics and safety profile of the currently available Gd-based contrast agents (GBCA) for MRA and liver imaging.
The content of this CME/CE Symposium is intended for healthcare professionals including Radiologists and Other Physicians, Radiologic and Imaging Nurses, Facility Managers, Researchers, Technologists, and Others.
