Program Description / Statement of Need:

Contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) is a safe, economical, and radiation-free imaging modality with broad diagnostic value in cardiology and whole-body applications. However, many clinicians remain underinformed about current guidelines, therapeutic uses, and emerging research that support its integration into practice. This symposium will address these gaps by highlighting global society recommendations, reviewing clinical and research advancements, and fostering greater adoption of CEUS to enhance patient care.

Target Audience:

This program is designed for cardiologists, interventional clinical cardiologists, radiologists, vascular specialists, biomedical engineers and research scientists, sonographers, nurses and other allied health professionals across the US and worldwide.

Accreditation and SDMS CME Credit Statements:

This program has been submitted for approval of 10.75 hours of SDMS CME Credit Category AE by the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (SDMS).
